As AI systems are increasingly used in healthcare, public services, education, and economic opportunity programs, the greatest risk is no longer model accuracy—but the absence of enforceable governance at runtime.
Communities are often the first to experience harm from ungoverned AI systems, while institutions lack the technical means to enforce policy, safety, and accountability during execution.
The House of Many Hands Foundation exists to close this gap by advancing governance mechanisms that operate while AI systems are running, not only after harm occurs.
